  • Long-Term Katy Freeway Program Lane Closures

  • I-10
    • Eastbound Exit Ramp to WILCREST DR. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed until further notice. Detour to the Kirkwood exit.
    • Eastbound Exit Ramp to SILBER RD. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed until further notice. Use the Wirt/Chimney Rock exit ramp.
    • Eastbound Entrance Ramp from WIRT/CHIMNEY ROCK. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed until further notice.
    • Eastbound Frontage Road from BINGLE/VOSS RD to SILBER RD. Alternating lanes. Closed until further notice.
    • Eastbound Frontage Road at ELDRIDGE PKY. The inside turn lane. Closed until further notice.
    • Eastbound Connector Ramp to BELTWAY 8-WEST northbound. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed continuously until 5:00 PM, Friday, October 3. Detour at the Wilcrest exit, to Beltway 8 northbound frontage road and enter the main lanes at Westview.
    • Eastbound Frontage Road at SH-6. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed daily from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM through Tuesday, May 27. Detour to Grisby and u-turn.
    • Eastbound Connector Ramp to BELTWAY 8-WEST southbound. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed until further notice. Detour to the Gessner exit and u-turn to IH 10 westbound frontage road to the Beltway 8 northbound to the Hammerly exit and u-turn to southbound Beltway 8 frontage to the Hammerly entrance.
    • Eastbound Exit Ramp to BELTWAY 8-WEST. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed nightly 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through Friday, May 9. Continue on the main lanes to the Gessner exit, u-turn at Gessner to the westbound frontage road, to Beltway 8 frontage road.
    • Eastbound Frontage Road at after the WILCREST ENTRANCE RAMP. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed nightly 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through Friday, May 9. Traffic can enter the main lanes using the Wilcrest entrance ramp.
    • Eastbound and westbound Frontage Road from BINGLE RD to CONRAD SAUER. Alternate lanes. Closed daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through Friday, August 1.
    • Eastbound and westbound at KIRKWOOD RD. TOTAL CLOSURE OF THE U-TURNS. Closed continuously until 5:00 PM, Friday, May 9. Detour to the signalized intersection.
    • Eastbound and westbound Frontage Road from N. POST OAK RD to CAMPBELL RD. Alternate lanes. Closed daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through Friday, May 9.
    • Westbound Entrance Ramp from WILCREST. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed permanently. Use the new entrance ramp at Wilcrest or Kirkwood.
    • Westbound Entrance Ramp from BUNKER HILL. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed continuously until 5:00 PM, Friday, August 1. Traffic should continue on the frontage road, go through the signalized intersections at Gessner and the Beltway and enter the main lanes after the Beltway.
    • Westbound Exit Ramp to BLALOCK and BUNKER HILL. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed continuously until 5:00 PM, Friday, August 1. Detour to the Campbell exit.
    • Westbound Connector Ramp to BELTWAY 8-WEST southbound. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed continuously until 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 15. Detour to Beltway 8 northbound, exit at Hammerly and u-turn to Beltway 8 southbound frontage road and enter the main lanes of the Beltway at the Hammerly entrance ramp.
    • Westbound Frontage Road at SH-6. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed nightly 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM from Wednesday, May 7 to Thursday, May 8. Detour northbound on SH-6 to Park Row and u-turn to the westbound frontage road, to SH-6.
    • Eastbound Connector Ramp to /from the NORTHWEST TRANSIT CENTER to IH 10-KATY FREEWAY eastbound. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed continuously until 3:00 PM, Friday, August 1. Eastbound traffic should detour to Old Katy Road to access IH 10 eastbound.

  • Beltway 8   Click here for Weekly Closure Forecast

    • Northbound Frontage Road at I-10 KATY. TOTAL CLOSURE OF THE FLYOVERS. Closed until further notice.
    • Northbound from MEMORIAL to IH 10-KATY FREEWAY. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed continuously from 10:00 PM, Friday, May 9 to 5:00 AM, Monday, May 12. Detour to the IH 10 exit to the eastbound frontage road to Gessner and u-turn to IH 10 westbound frontage road to Beltway 8 northbound.
    • Southbound from WESTVIEW to IH 10-KATY FREEWAY. TOTAL CLOSURE. Closed continuously from 10:00 PM, Friday, May 9 to 5:00 AM, Monday, May 12. Detour to the Kirkwood exit and u-turn to IH 10 eastbound frontage road, to Beltway 8 southbound frontage road, to the entrance after Memorial.
  • SH-6

    • Northbound at IH 10-KATY FREEWAY eastbound frontage road. The outside right-turn lane. Closed permanently.
