Before SH 6 was raised over 10 feet to match the elevation of the new I-10 westbound frontage road, traffic was switched onto one side to allow room for construction (looking south).

After the intersection of I-10 westbound and SH 6 was raised, an additional lane in both directions and left-turns lanes were reopened (looking south).

Traffic was switched onto the new I-10 westbound frontage road from west of Eldridge to west of SH 6 (looking east).
