After removing a beam for the temporary Union Pacific Railroad bridge over I-10/Katy Freeway, track excavators turn it on it’s side prior to demolition and removal.

Overview of the beam removal of the western span of the temporary Union Pacific Railroad bridge over I-10/Katy Freeway.

Concrete is being placed for the future I-10/Katy Freeway westbound mainlanes west of Washington Ave./Westcott St. (looking east).

In an effort to maintain the aesthetics of the freeway, graffiti is sandblasted off of the eastern span of the Union Pacific Railroad bridge over I-10/Katy Freeway.
