The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has launched an effort to
meld modern-day mobility with aesthetic principles and restore some of the
area's natural beauty along roadways.
Called the Green Ribbon Project, it will be implemented along I-10 from the
City of Katy to the intersection at 610 as part of the Katy Freeway
Reconstruction Program. This section includes highlights of the Master Plan
recommendations.
